DataMetrics™ Releases New Rugged Laser Printer - Model 3402
ORLANDO, FL, May 21, 2007 – DataMetrics™ Corporation (OTCBB: DMCP), announces that on May 21, 2007 the Model 3402, a rugged laser printer, has been developed and is now available to the public.
The Model 3402 is designed to be a direct drop-in replacement for the DataMetrics™ Model 3400 and Model 3401 printers. Features for this model include; 27 ppm printing, 1200 x 1200 dpi, 32 MB memory, 400 MHz processor, built-in duplex for two sided printing, USB 2.0, and 10/100 baseT Ethernet interfaces. In addition to these features, the Model 3402 is a dual voltage printer switchable between 110-124 Vac, 47-440 Hz, and 220-240 Vac, 47-440 Hz. Optional features include telescopic slide rails for rackmounting, up to 256 MB memory, and a parallel IEEE 1284 interface. As with all DataMetrics™ products, the 3402 can be easily modified to meet any customer or application specific requirements.
“Inevitably, obsolesces becomes an issue with all COTS engines. Rather than discontinuing the product line completely, DataMetrics™ continues to develop drop-in replacements for older printers as one way to offer continuous support for printers already deployed for use. This philosophy of continuous and ongoing product support and development is what makes DataMetrics™ different than other manufactures”, said John Marceca, VP of Business Development.
The Model 3402 is fully operational with shock up to 15G per MIL-STD-810E, vibration of 2G random and sinusoidal per MIL-STD-810E, temperature -10°C to +50°C, altitude up to 15,000 ft, and EMI/EMC built to meet MIL-STD-461C.
Pricing for the tabletop Model 3402, rugged monochromatic laser printer, starts at $4,350 MSRP with quantity discounts available with the purchase of 6+ units.
